The Faculty of Public Health is located on the University main campus at Nong Or, established since 2003. The Faculty is the first governmental Faculty of Public Health in the northern region of the country. The Faculty of Public Health, Naresuan University has collaboration with Siridhorn Collage of Public Health, Phitsanulok to produce health professionals to meet the needs of the country.

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences was established in 1996 in response to the Eighth Higher Education Development Plan (1997-2001) and the growing need for allied health professionals in the lower part of Northern Thailand. The faculty offers four undergraduate programs in Medical Technology, Cardio-Thoracic Technology, Radiological Technology, and Physical Therapy.

The four-year curricula emphasizes two major aspects; course work, in which the enrolled students have to study intensively both general knowledge and program specific subjects, and clinical education, which the enrolled students will have the opportunity of at least a semester to practice their professional skills in the affiliated hospitals under supervision of experienced professionals.

This course is concerned with health care problems in our daily life. The research and education in this course are focused on the health-related issues connected with clothing, food and nutrition, dwellings, exercise and stress. This interdisciplinary attitude allows the students to achieve advanced knowledge of important health issues and to learn the ways of solving health care related problems. Job positions after graduation from the course are found in health care businesses, institutes of health sciences, health sections of public and governmental agencies, health insurance companies, etc.

Health Science and Clothing Environment involves the study of healthy, comfortable and safer life through the scientific understanding of natural problems. The Department offers two different courses, Environmental Health and Clothing Environmental Science. Both courses develop advanced research ability and knowledge, which can be applied to professional management of healthy life. Environmental Health integrates nutrition, biological cell, exercise, sleep as rest and environment with healthy life. Clothing Environmental Science develops your expertise in wide range of clothing sciences, functional material, ‘kansei’, design and maintenance, from micro to macro aspects.

The course aims to give you the knowledge and the confidence you need to apply diverse disciplines to individual cases related to palliative care. You’ll learn the techniques, technologies and theories associated with patient care, and develop the ability to analyse cases individually and devise a care programme accordingly. You’ll also explore the emotional aspects of care, relating to patients, families and yourself, and develop techniques for personal stress management, learning to cope with the pressures of this demanding career.
