Psychology Undergraduate from Bluffton University

Students who major in psychology at Bluffton develop skills in observation, interviewing, conducting surveys, and performing experiments. They also learn computer-based methods of handling and analyzing data, and computer- and library-based methods of searching the literature of psychology to find information on specific topics. Additionally, they learn how to write and present the results of investigations in psychology, and how to be critical consumers of psychological information.

Health Physical Education and Recreation from Bluffton University

The goal of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department is to provide a wide range of learning experiences in the education, recreation, wellness and sport management areas. This will prepare students for careers in more than one of these areas upon graduation.

We encourage each student in our department to obtain professional experiences related to their area of study through internships or clinical practice experience. Encouragement is also given to secure coaching opportunities, CPR and first aid certification and to attend professional conferences and clinics in areas related to their field of study.
