We offer a challenging program that includes two quarters of experience in the state-of-the-art CSUB University Counselor Training Clinic and field traineeships, all of which provide counseling services to the Bakersfield community.
Our MA Program in Psychology prepares students for Ph.D. programs, or for teaching positions at community colleges. In our rigorous program, we provide a well-rounded graduate education, centered around a faculty-student apprenticeship model. Students work closely with their faculty advisor, engaging in research, presenting at conferences, and becoming engaged in the field.
