Graduate Programs Psychology from Caldwell College

The East-West Spiritual Counseling Certificate from CIIS is a two-semester program that provides mental health professionals and pastoral counselors with the foundational background and skills in East-West spiritual counseling. The certificate program enables therapists to broaden the scope of their practice to include the central role of spiritual and religious experiences and beliefs. Students are required to complete 18 units, including six units of core courses, six units of group supervision and case presentation, and six units of directed electives. This advanced certificate requires a master’s degree.

Master of Science Program from D youville College

For the master of science degree, the program of study in Health Sciences Administration (HSA) is 42 credits. Through its core courses, electives and internship, this program prepares students for responsible positions in the health care field.

Core courses give students a solid knowledge of management practice and develop an understanding of the interactions between management, financial analyses and strategic management of health systems.

Electives provide further exploration and mastery of topics of personal interest. These may include health services consulting, aging in America, and management in extended care facilities.

Gerontology Program Health Care from California State University Fresno

The mission of the Interdisciplinary Gerontology Program is to enhance the university’s educational objectives by promoting the understanding of aging and later life. The study of aging is approached from a cross-disciplinary and multi-dimensional perspective. The program offers core courses in gerontology and includes classes from social work, biology, recreation and leisure studies, psychology, and women’s studies. The Interdisciplinary Gerontology Program offers a Minor in Gerontology and The Gerontological Specialist Certificate. A special major in gerontology may also be designed.
